地番
chibanちばん
Lot number
The legal identifier of a land parcel, assigned in the property registry and shown on cadastral maps. It is usually different from the postal address, and it is what you need to pull the official title record for a property. Listings often omit it, so finding the chiban is the first step of serious due diligence.
