告知事項

kokuchi jikōこくちじこう

Disclosure matters

Facts a seller or agent must disclose because they would affect a buyer's decision: deaths on the premises, disputes, nuisances, past incidents. A listing marked 告知事項あり is what English speakers call a stigmatized property (事故物件) — often sharply discounted, and worth understanding rather than reflexively avoiding.
