Land encumbered by a tenant's leasehold right — the landlord's side of the arrangement. It trades at a deep discount because the owner collects modest ground rent and cannot freely use or sell vacant possession. Occasionally offered to the leaseholder, whose purchase reunites the title and unlocks full value.
