Registered land area
The land area recorded in the registry, in square meters. On old parcels it can differ substantially from the surveyed reality — historically under-declared to reduce tax (縄伸び, "rope stretch"). If price is being calculated per unit of area, ask whether the figure is registered or surveyed.
