kenpeiritsuけんぺいりつ

Building coverage ratio

The maximum building footprint as a percentage of the lot, set by the zoning district (commonly 30–80%). Together with the floor-area ratio it determines how much house a lot can legally hold — and whether the existing house already exceeds today's limit.
