Setback

Where the front road is a deemed road narrower than 4 meters, rebuilding requires pulling the wall or structure back so the road can eventually reach 4m — normally to a line 2m from the road's centerline. The surrendered strip still belongs to you but cannot be built on or counted toward ratios, effectively shrinking the usable lot.
