Road-access requirement

The Building Standards Act rule that a buildable lot must touch a qualifying road (4m wide or more, or a deemed road) for at least 2 meters. Lots that fail cannot get a building permit — the single most common reason a property is non-rebuildable, and the first thing to verify on any cheap house.
