The rates for Shiga from the 2026 prefectural land price survey, published by Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on 2026-09-15. Official land prices are appraised values per square metre set by each prefectural governor as of 1 July, which is a different measure from what properties actually sold for. The survey covers 21,466 points nationwide.
